The Scottish wildcat, Cider, respite, breeding, animal bridge, Fieldridge copse
Located at the heart of the old Fieldridge copse, a now fragmented woodland, the project aimed to unify with orchard space and tree plantation as much of the woodland as possible to create space for the animals to run freely from north to south of the motorway. The orchard space produces over 2000 liters of cider to be used in the project and sold to locals and visitors. In the breeding space, Scottish wildcats inhabit the exterior land in which they are bred without making the space an exhibition of the animals to preserve their wildness for rewilding later in life. The building embraces the woodland while also inhabiting it giving people the opportunity to see the animal cross the motorway thought the bridge without disturbing them while also enjoying the journey through the trees.

Cirkus Cirkor (Knitting Peace)
Phase 1:
Informed by the shape and size of the boat, concise living space was created for the artists of the Cirkus Cirkor to tour the entire country of France in all seasons. Cirkus Cirkor is a contemporary Swedish circus that tackles modern life issues to address in their performances. As the project was established to start in the heart of Paris and travel through its canals, the choice of a contemporary circus could not be ignored, and in the busy rhythm of the city what better piece to have than ‘The Knitting Peace’.
Phase 2:
As a base for the circus, the chosen location was the canal around the Stade de France which has a strong community presence, which presented an opportunity to build a strong circus school for the local community to help young people in tackling and bringing awareness to a local and contemporary issue.
